With the growth of global energy demand, the continuous reduction of fossil resources and the strengthening of environmental protection around the world, the promotion and application of clean energy have become an inevitable trend. Furthermore, power systems and power electronics play a key role in modern applications of clean energy systems. But there are many challenges to tackle in energy storage and power system research. Clean energy storage and power engineering application technologies (such as electric drive, power electronic converter, smart grid control, etc.) have become research hotspots. Thus, the aim objective of CESPE2023 is to disseminate recent advances associated with the theory and application in power engineering, clean energy systems and storage, which is of key importance for addressing climate and energy supply challenges.
